Refund Policy

1. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 30-day refund period on new HostMoose hosting plans, including monthly and annual plans. To qualify, refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the initial purchase date.
After 30 days, all hosting fees are non-refundable, including any unused portion of an annual plan.
2. Eligible Refund Situations
Within the 30-day window, refunds may be granted for:
- Dissatisfaction with service quality or performance
- Duplicate billing or payment errors
- Accidental or unauthorized charges
- Account setup errors on our part
- Technical failures that prevent use of the hosting service
3. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are non-refundable at any time:
- Domain name registrations and renewals
- SSL certificates
- Third-party services or add-ons
- Custom technical work, migrations, or hands-on development
- Late fees or service reactivation fees
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Contact support@hostmoose.ca
- Provide your account email, invoice ID, and reason for the refund request
- We will review eligibility within 5 business days
If a refund is approved, we will close your account and terminate associated services at the time of refund.
5. Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback instead of contacting support:
- Violates this policy
- May result in immediate account suspension
- May incur administrative fees and immediate data deletion
